It’s not too early to begin thinking about nominating those philanthropists and volunteers who have made significant contributions which enrich, improve lives and communities and address social, economic, and human needs.

AFP will again award honors at the 19^th Annual Triad Philanthropy Day awards ceremony and luncheon on Nov. 21, 2011 at Grandover Resort at 12 noon.

Categories include:

• Outstanding Fundraising Professional
• Lifetime Achievement in Philanthropy
• Outstanding Philanthropic Individual
• Outstanding Fundraising Volunteer
• Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation
• Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation
• Outstanding Philanthropic Youth
• Outstanding Philanthropic Youth Group

On occasion there are people, initiatives, or groups which do not fall in one of the above categories.  In the past we have awarded honors to civic and faith-based organizations when the nomination warranted honors but did not fit into a category.  

When considering your nominations for 2011, please include the county(s) served.
