About the Presentation:

Join the North Carolina Budget & Tax Center, the North Carolina Justice Center, and United Way of North Carolina as they share an update on the economy and the state budget, and how it is affecting our community.

At the conclusion of the program, attendees will:

1. Have an understanding of how the state budget and the economy will impact our community;

2. Hear what budget trends are developing, and how long it's anticipated to take NC to recover from the Great Recession;

3. Receive an updat on how NC fairs in areas like Education, Health and Public Safety; and

4. Learn how we can impact the issues we care most about.
