Develop your network, knowledge and grow professionally by participating in the 2010 Mentoring Partners program.

Professional development and career growth is optimized when we have a mentor to turn to who will share valuable experience and knowledge.  With a mentor you can:

 
Problem-solve and obtain guidance from someone who has done what you are doing
  • Benefit from an experienced perspective
  • Learn about skill and career resources
  • Establish goals and receive veteran, professional support to realize them


This members-only benefit is a valuable one, especially if you are in the early years of your career or are in a one-person shop.  

Mentoring a less experienced colleague is not only personally fulfilling, but helps the mentor to reflect upon his or her career path and skills.  Both mentor and mentee will learn from each other.  

The NC Triad Chapter offers members one-on-one assistance through this unique program to enhance their career growth and knowledge as development professionals.  Participation as a Mentee is available to members who have completed at least one year as a development professional, (or with permission of the program co-chairs; ex. a lateral career move into development.)  Participation as a Mentor is encouraged from members with dem­onstrated expertise in fundraising, especially CFRE awarded professionals.

The 2010 Mentoring Partners program occurs over a six-to-nine month time span.
